Joseph (Joey) Falatok joined Macala & Piatt, LLC as an Associate in 2025. He is a graduate of the University of Mount Union (2020), where he received a degree in Political Science. Joey earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law (2025), where he served on the Akron Law Review, and graduated with honors. Attorney Falatok has been admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Stark County Bar Association, and the Charles F. Scanlon and Judge Samuel H. Bell American Inn of Court. Attorney Falatok’s areas of concentration include Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension plans, as well as Public Sector Labor Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Joey worked in municipal government.
